This is a pot that I made inspired by Youghal, a small town by the sea in Ireland.

Its six feet tall and twice as wide! I wish- no, its just the size of a regular plate. Made of earthenware clay.

which type of clay did you use for it?

I use just regular stoneware! Cheap and cheerful, that's me! What are you planning on making?

well, I make wheelthrown pots... but I'm thinking about working on handbuilding... and I was just curious which type of clay you used... I really like it! How big is it?

Thanks very much. Its abit smaller then a football - in fact I used a football as an armiture and then deflated it to remove the pot. Let me know how you get on... good luck :meow:
